Commentary Sheets
Commentary sheets support adults to build children’s language through everyday interactions. Rather than relying on lots of questions, they provide examples of simple commentary adults can use to model vocabulary, describe actions and extend children’s ideas during play. The aim is to help adults become more aware of how their talk supports language development and to make high quality language input part of daily practice.
