Colourful Semantics: Prepositions and Adverbials

This handy pack of 45 fronted adverbials and prepositions helps support struggling writers when writing more complex sentences.

The fronted adverbials can be used at the beginning of a sentence to give more information about the action in the main clause. The difference in colour helps to remind children that they are separate from the main clause and must include a comma.
