Maths Tricksters PowerPoint Game

A simple, engaging maths game with a playful twist… and a very cheeky trickster!

This interactive PowerPoint is designed for Nursery children (ages 3–4) to develop early counting, number recognition and noticing skills through a fun, repeatable routine.

As the number cards appear, children count along together. But just when they think they’ve got it… the maths trickster arrives and steals a number.

Children close their eyes, a number disappears, and together you count again to work out what’s missing. When they spot it, they show the number on their fingers and “send it back” to the screen.
