Reception Assessment Pack

A conversation-led assessment pack designed to complement the Reception Baseline Assessment and provide clear, meaningful evidence of children’s learning and progress throughout the Reception year.

Using familiar seasonal classroom scenes, children can look, talk, explain, count, read, reason and mark-make in a relaxed and engaging way. The assessment snapshots cover Communication & Language, Mathematics, Literacy, Understanding the World and PSED, alongside space to record early writing and observations.

The pack includes Baseline, Autumn, Spring and Summer snapshots, allowing you to see progression across the year, alongside detailed adult prompt sheets with suggested questions linked directly to the skills being assessed.
